The agency works closely with the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC), USDA Rural Development, HUD and private investors in the planned development, acquisition and renovation of quality affordable housing.

NECAC is a nationally chartered member of NeighborWorks America and Rural Local Initiatives Support Corporation (Rural LISC.)
