Community Health Programs
Without NECAC’s community health service department, thousands of people would not receive the medical treatment and services they need. NECAC’s licensed and highly-trained providers make sure that clients receive quality, timely and efficient care. Services provided include Family Planning, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and In-Home Senior Services programs.
Family Planning serves more than 5,000 patients each year at clinics throughout the agency’s service area. In addition, the program participates in community events and educational programs.
WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that serves more than 20,000 clients annually at clinics in Warren and St. Charles counties.
In-Home Services covers 41 Missouri counties. Nurses and certified aides assist clients with needed nursing, personal care, homemaker chore and respite services. The program allows clients to remain independent while avoiding a lengthy nursing home or hospital stay.
