About
NECAC County Service Coordinators and volunteers are the first sources for people in need. Staff members provide a complete intake assessment of each client. The interview is designed to showcase needs in employment, education, use of income, housing, nutrition and health.
After the assessment, clients sign up for programs that will put them back on the path to self-sufficiency. If NECAC cannot help, it refers clients to other agencies in the community.
NECAC enrolls clients in agency-sponsored life skills classes such as pre-employment, budgeting, energy conservation and building strong families. Some programs require attendance at the classes to qualify for assistance.
NECAC provides networking through programs that offer people a chance to better themselves and their hometowns.
Community Services Programs make a difference in clients’ lives.
